Traditional Inuit Clothing

Today was Traditional Inuit Clothing Day at our school. Here are a few random pictures from this afternoon's assembly.













As an added bonus, I dug into the archives and came across this older picture of me from June 2005, dressed in caribou skins.

It is quite striking. There were a few other amautis I had hoped to get pictures of but their wearers were a little on the shy side.

in the 2nd last photo what kind of sunglasses are they called...i'm trying to find a closer image of them :D

The glasses are made out of caribou bone but I'm not sure of the name for them.
