Following in the Footsteps of Giants

The Bohemian spa town of Karlsbad has drawn a number of important visitors over the course of its history. Monuments to some of the greatest figures in Western history adorn the town.

A plaque to Czech composer Antonin Dvorak.

German poet Goethe.

The Czechs' greatest king Charles IV.

Czech nationalist composer Bedrich Smetana.

Beethoven statue in Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad).
